Passionate Physical Education with a Path and Purpose
- Mr. Randy Spring
Hello! This website was built to share my passion for creating and implementing a quality physical education experience for my school community alongside other passionate physical educators across the globe. I believe teaching quality physical education is a path, not a destination. Every day we should strive together to create activities, lessons, and curriculum that inspire our students to WANT to move, play, and believe in themselves, influencing them to have an internal desire to be healthy individuals for the rest of their lives.
I am devoted to giving all students entering my classroom this quality experience on a daily basis. An engaging experience built to equip all ages and ability levels with confident social, emotional, and physical skills to internally motivate them to make it a priority to be lifelong physically active individuals. Above all else, my passion and philosophies hope to teach my students what it looks like and feels like to practice empathy, inclusion, and kindness toward others in their present and future lives.
Lets share, collaborate, reflect, and grow side by side to be the best physical educators we can be. Never forget, we GET to teach PE. Let's teach P.E. we're PROUD OF.
Be the difference between basic
physical activity and QUALITY PHYSICAL EDUCATION.
physical activity and QUALITY PHYSICAL EDUCATION.
"Someone can be physically active without being physical educated. For example, I can take a brisk walk and be physically active. But if I'm physically educated I have been taught how to recognize and have a good understanding of the benefits and the purpose of walking to increase my healthy state. Physical activity is the "What". Physical education is the "Why", the "How", the "When", the "How Long" and the "How Much". Physical education is teaching life-long active living so an 8 year old will some day be 80 years old and able to carry 2 sacks of groceries up 2 flights of stairs". - Jean Blaydes
